Ingredients
- 1 ozwhite rum30 ml
- 1 ozblue curaçao30 ml
- 1 ozcoconut cream30 ml
- 2 ozpineapple juice60 ml
Instructions
Combine rum, blue curaçao, coconut cream, and pineapple juice in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry.

Technique
Shake extra hard — the coconut cream needs vigorous shaking to emulsify. The drink should be smooth and creamy, not separated.
Balance
The blue curaçao provides the color and orange flavor. Coconut cream (not coconut water) gives it body. Fresh pineapple juice makes a big difference.
