Ingredients

  • 2 ozwhite rum
  • 2 ozmango purée
  • ¾ ozfresh lime juice
  • ½ ozsimple syrup
  • 1 cupice

Instructions

Combine rum, mango purée, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a coupe or hurricane glass. Garnish with a mango slice.

Use ripe mango purée (frozen works great here). Blend until completely smooth. The lime juice is crucial — without it, this is just a mango smoothie with rum.

Balance

Mango is naturally very sweet, so you may not need the full amount of simple syrup. Taste the blend before serving and adjust acidity with more lime if needed.
