Ingredients
- 2 ozvodka60 ml
- 4 oztonic water120 ml
- 1lime wedge
Instructions
Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour vodka over the ice. Top with tonic water. Squeeze a lime wedge and drop it in. Stir once gently.
Sips & Tips
Technique
Use plenty of ice and pour the tonic gently to preserve carbonation. One stir only. The lime wedge adds essential brightness to an otherwise neutral drink.
Balance
The tonic does all the flavor work here. Use a quality tonic (Fever-Tree, Q Tonic) — cheap tonic with HFCS makes this taste artificial. The quinine bitterness is the point.
