Cognac

The world's most celebrated brandy, made from grapes in the Charente region of France. Aged in Limousin oak barrels, cognac develops extraordinary complexity — dried fruit, vanilla, spice, and floral notes that make it the foundation of the Sidecar, the Vieux Carré, and the Brandy Alexander.

Styles & Brands

VS/VSOP Cognac

VS (Very Special) is aged a minimum of 2 years; VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) a minimum of 4 years. Both are ideal for cocktails — complex enough to add character, not so precious that you feel guilty mixing them.

  • Rémy Martin VSOP

Ripe fruit, vanilla, and a hint of oak. Smooth and versatile — the benchmark cocktail cognac. Excellent in a Sidecar or a Vieux Carré.

  • Hennessy VS

Fruity and slightly spicy with a clean, approachable finish. The world's best-selling cognac — reliable and versatile for cocktails.

  • Pierre Ferrand Ambre

Rich and complex with notes of dried apricot, vanilla, and toasted oak. A bartender's favorite — exceptional in a Brandy Alexander or a French Connection.
