Triple Sec & Curaçao

Orange liqueurs are the unsung heroes of the cocktail world. From the Margarita to the Sidecar to the Cosmopolitan, these sweet, citrus-forward spirits appear in more classic recipes than almost any other modifier. Triple sec is clear and clean; curaçao is richer and more complex.

Styles & Brands

Premium Triple Sec

Clear, orange-forward liqueurs made from dried orange peels. The best examples balance sweetness with bright citrus oil and a clean finish.

  • Cointreau

The benchmark. Crystal clear with intense orange peel, a touch of sweetness, and a clean, dry finish. Essential for a Margarita, Sidecar, or Cosmopolitan.

  • Combier

The original triple sec — lighter and less sweet than Cointreau with a more delicate orange blossom character. Lovely in a White Lady.

Orange Curaçao

Richer and more complex than triple sec — made from the dried peels of laraha oranges from Curaçao. Deeper color and a slightly bitter, spiced character.

  • Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao

The bartender's choice. Cognac-based with a deep, complex orange character — bitter peel, vanilla, and warm spice. Transforms a Mai Tai.

  • Grand Marnier

Cognac blended with bitter orange — rich, warming, and slightly oaky. Excellent in a Cadillac Margarita or sipped neat as a digestif.
