  • ½ oztequila
  • ½ oztriple sec
  • ¾ ozfresh lemon juice
  • ½ ozsimple syrup
  • 1 ozcola

Instructions

Sips & Tips

Technique

Despite its reputation, a well-made Long Island should taste balanced, not boozy. The cola is just for color — use barely a splash. Fresh lemon juice is non-negotiable.

Balance

Equal parts of each spirit means no single flavor dominates. The lemon and syrup do the heavy lifting to make it drinkable. Don't over-pour the cola or it becomes a rum and coke with extra steps.
