Ingredients
- 2 ozgin60 ml
- 4 oztonic water120 ml
- 1lime wedge
Instructions
Fill a tall glass with ice (the more the better — it keeps the tonic fizzy). Pour gin over the ice, then add tonic water. Stir once gently. Squeeze a lime wedge and drop it in.
Sips & Tips
Technique
Use plenty of ice — a full glass keeps the tonic cold and carbonated longer. Pour the tonic gently down the side of the glass to preserve bubbles. One gentle stir only.
Balance
The tonic matters as much as the gin. Fever-Tree or Q Tonic have real quinine and less sugar. Match your gin style to your tonic — floral gins pair with lighter tonics, bold London Drys can handle Indian tonic.
