Ingredients
- 2 ozbourbon60 ml
- 4 ozginger ale120 ml
- 1lime wedge
Instructions
Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour bourbon over the ice and top with ginger ale. Stir gently once. Squeeze a lime wedge over the top and drop it in.

Technique
Use ginger beer instead of ginger ale for more spice and complexity. The lime wedge is optional but adds a brightness that lifts the whole drink.
Balance
