Ingredients
- 2 oztequila blanco60 ml
- 1½ ozmango purée45 ml
- ½ oztriple sec15 ml
- 1 ozfresh lime juice30 ml
- ¼ ozagave syrup7 ml
Instructions
Combine tequila, mango purée, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a Tajín-rimmed rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a mango slice.

Technique
Use ripe mango purée — frozen works great. Tajín on the rim adds chili-lime salt that complements the mango beautifully. Shake hard to integrate the thick purée.
Balance
Mango is sweet, so you may not need the agave syrup. Taste first. The lime juice is essential to keep this tasting like a margarita and not a mango smoothie.
